Our community doesn’t just talk about collaborating...we do it.
Purdue University and the City of West Lafayette joined forces and developed the State Street Project. The project is transforming the city and campus to be a more attractive and easier to navigate with tree-lined sidewalks, bicycle paths and public art to create a more leisure-time destination.
This compliments nicely with the development of the Wabash Riverfront Project, a public/private partnership which is spearheading the development of public space along the Wabash River.
