The State of Advanced Manufacturing is a week-long event that provides educators and students in grades K-12 across the Greater Lafayette region the opportunity to learn more about high tech advanced manufacturing and logistics careers.
In 2018 we exposed 1,600+ area students to manufacturing.

CODER DOJO
Equipping Youth with Coding Skills
Coder Dojo is a coding club and a collaborative effort between several community partners to expose kids age 7-17 to coding activities which include app development, game creation, Python and JavaScript programming, and a variety of hands on robotic activities.

Career & Technical Education Awards
Greater Lafayette Commerce works in partnership with the Wildcat Creek Career Cooperative to recognize Tippecanoe county high school students, for singular outstanding performance in their field of study. Course offerings range from Agricultural Power to Textiles and Fashion and enable students to enter the workforce with advance training and readiness to succeed and contribute back to the community.
In 2019, forty- two area high school students were honored.

This award recognizes and celebrates the positive contributions of educational leaders in Tippecanoe County. Educators are nominated by students, parents and colleagues.
